From Brooklyn, Netherlands is known for its barbaric psych-metal riddled with infectious hooks – like the hyperactive stepchild of the Melvins-Torche school of rock, the trio spews euphoric choruses and brain-rattling freakouts atop a violently grooving rhythm section.

The trio is fronted by Timo Ellis, a longtime force in the NYC music scene, whose many collaborators of the past two decades include Yoko Ono and Cibo Matto.

Hope Porn will be released February 9th on Records and Tapes Records. The EP was recorded by Ellis at Shame Party Studio in Brooklyn, NY, and mixed and mastered by Tom Tierney (A Place to Bury Strangers, Candiria) at Spaceman Sound in Brooklyn, NY.

Ellis is also at work on Shame Party, a highly surreal "talk show" that has him interviewing members of TV On The Radio, KMFDM, and Mutilation Rites. Watch recent episodes here:

"There’s really no word you can use to describe Netherlands besides 'heavy'... It’s got elements of industrial rock in the delivery, noise rock guitars, hard rock riffs, and a little NWOBHM influence too. The whole thing is pretty wild..."
–BrooklynVegan

"The melodies riding on top of doom grooves captivate you in an eerie but sincere way that I haven't really heard since Type O Negative."
–Metal Injection

"Think Torche but way more punk and filthier to boot."
–Heavy Blog Is Heavy

"Odd time signatures, hooks big enough to hang a bridge from..."
–Nine Circles

"A psychedelic, psychotic, groovefest..."
–Svbterranean

"Totally whacked out."
