"[Planet B] applies an electronic edge to the grindy noise freakouts of Justin’s other bands... A new musical direction."

Planet B presents the music video for new single "Disease Control," off the San Diego duo's self-titled debut album, coming November 23rd on Ipecac Recordings. The highly-NSFW video makes its debut today via Revolver.

Planet B is the collaboration of Justin Pearson (member of The Locust, Retox, and Dead Cross, and founder of Three One G Records) and producer Luke Henshaw. Pearson's electrifying vocals meet Henshaw's sonic feast of hip-hop, industrial, and film score influences. The sound transcends genres: dark, heavy, urgent, and anthemic, it is equally relevant in the contexts of hardcore punk and hip-hop.
Created by artist Eric Livingston, the "Disease Control" video is a politically-charged, animated clip and it is no coincidence that its premiere falls one day before the US midterm elections. Revolver describes the video as "an all-out penile war."
Never one to shy from controversy or sugarcoat his political convictions, Pearson states: "Artist Eric Livingston has a talent for showcasing offensive stuff. But hey, I'm not even sure what is offensive anymore. I mean, a lot of people voted for a big orange dick who lacks empathy, which seems pretty offensive to me."

"Disease Control" features guest vocals by Sonny Kay (Angel Hair, The VSS, founder of GSL Records). The album's wide range of guests also includes rapper Kool Keith, guitarist Nick Zinner (Yeah Yeah Yeahs), industrial godfather Martin Atkins (Ministry, PiL, Killing Joke, Pigface), and drummer Gabe Serbian (The Locust).
