"Something Is Waiting are the shrieky, sleazy, crust-glam you crave... They mix chuggy hard rock, shrieking crust, and greasy glam metal to create a sound that’s reminiscent of everyone from Today Is The Day and Dillinger Escape Plan to Ministry and Dope... The band’s new track, 'Nikki Lane’s Neo Nashville Airbnb,' just further solidifies our love for Something Is Waiting."
–Kerrang!

Hard, nasty, and weird, Something Is Waiting bridges noise-rock and hair metal – like Unsane covering Too Fast for Love, or Axl fronting The Jesus Lizard, or a juiced-up reincarnation of late '80s White Zombie, this is urban scum-rock grasping toward a fantasy of LA sleaze.
New track "Nikki Lane's Neo Nashville Airbnb" is an intense, driving ode to the city of Nashville, which the chamber of commerce will probably never be licensing.
Songs for the Sally Beauty Pavilion was recorded and mixed by Something Is Waiting guitarist Pete Grossmann at his own Bricktop Recording (Weekend Nachos, Like Rats) in Chicago, and mastered by Maor Appelbaum (Faith No More, Today Is The Day).
