THE NUMBER TWELVE LOOKS LIKE YOU - Put On Your Rosy Red Glasses

THE NUMBER TWELVE LOOKS LIKE YOU: Silent Pendulum Records celebrates debut album's 20th anniversary with elaborate vinyl reissue

Silent Pendulum Records has launched the official pre-order for the 20-year anniversary reissue of The Number Twelve Looks Like You's debut album, Put On Your Rosy Red Glasses.

Produced by Jayson DeZuzio, the 2003 album introduced the New Jersey band to the world, by way of an experimental brand of metalcore that ricochets between technicality, brutality, chaos, and heartbreak. Reference points include the early works of bands such as The Dillinger Escape Plan and A Life Once Lost. In the year of its release, PunkNews enthused: "This is their first release and it's pretty stunning."

More recently, reflecting on the band's career, Kerrang! reported: "The New Jersey mathcore quartet spent the better part of the 2000s making a name for themselves with their bizarre and untamable mixture of death metal, hardcore, screamo, and triple-jointed prog, as well as with their cathartic live performances."

The Number Twelve vocalist Jesse Korman states: "If you told 18-year-old me that we would be celebrating the 20-year anniversary of 'Put On Your Rosy Red Glasses' by releasing it on limited edition vinyl and that people would actually buy them… I would say, no way anyone plays this album more than once. So, to everyone who has played this album more than once, you play a very important role in our lives. Thank you."

Silent Pendulum's 20th anniversary reissue includes three separate vinyl pressings, featuring alternate covers (black, red, pink) and multiple vinyl colors. See complete details and p
