Out today: BODY STUFF - Body Stuff 4

Body Stuff 4,
the new album by Body Stuff, is out today via The Chain.

Following three EPs, Body Stuff 4 is the New York City duo's first full-length album. A singular vision of impassioned, metallic rock, the album features guest appearances by '80s icon Tiffany ("I Think We're Alone Now") and Xiu Xiu's Jamie Stewart.

"After releasing three EPs, New York experimental punk rocker Curran Reynolds's Body Stuff hurl out their debut LP... With more room to swing, Reynolds takes full advantage of the opportunity and unleashes a massive surge of passionate energy that occasionally comes across like a hardcore Bruce Springsteen. 'Body Stuff 4' is also inflamed with solid moments of intense beauty and unexpected sonic surprises."
–The Wire

"A work that sounds like the coolest kid you knew circa 1988 made you a mixtape... Reynolds’ hearty howl sounds like Springsteen fully embracing his Suicide influence... And, somehow, no matter what style Body Stuff incorporate, there’s no whiplash. Instead, the duo distills its influences down to the commonalities and composes catchy songs that bullseye the middle. That it keeps getting better is the real story."
–Stereogum

"If Godflesh ever teamed up with Billy Idol, they'd still be trying to collect the formula that makes Body Stuff infectiously entertaining."
–Metal Injection
