Brooklyn favorites Bootblacks deliver soulful post-punk with a driving, dancefloor pulse; their anthemic songs have been compared to early U2, Clan of Xymox, and more.
The band's sound reflects its home of NYC, via a mix of lonely melancholia and glamorous club vibes. Vocalist Panther Almqvist states: "I think our music has been shaped by [NYC] in many ways."
Third album Thin Skies was produced by Jason Corbett of ACTORS; guest vocals by Kennedy Ashlyn of SRSQ and Shannon Hemmett of ACTORS.
