OvO's ninth album Miasma is out today on Artoffact Records.
Eleven tracks of otherworldly, electronics-laced, antifascist noise-metal, the album lives up to its name, conjuring an all-consuming miasma of rhythmic annihilation, fronted by the bizarre incantations of vocalist Stefania Pedretti, and featuring collabs with members of The Soft Moon, Arabrot, and more!
OvO has described its music as: "Our personal ode to positive rage... a challenge against the inflexibility of the society... a united fight for everybody’s freedom." The Italian duo celebrates its 20th anniversary this year. A European tour kicks off next week.

"Italian anti-fascist duo OvO make a pretty convincing case that progressive politics can be advanced through weird shrieking and amp manipulation. OvO slam together genres ranging from grind to industrial to hip-hop for maximum clash value on their ninth album... Weirdly infectious."

"Italian noise rock legends celebrating their 20th anniversary this year. Their forthcoming album Miasma... takes it to another level of dark power."
–CVLT Nation
"Apocalyptic... A thrilling new piece of work."
–New Noise
"This is music that is impossible to put into a box... Björk and Yoko Ono in the depths of an ether binge with Ivar Bjørnson. It may be early in 2020 to say, but I have few doubts that this will be one of the most unique albums to come out this year."
–Metal Trenches
