King Yosef has revealed "Echo," the latest single from his upcoming new album, An Underlying Hum.
Recorded and mixed by Converge's Kurt Ballou at GodCity Music, the album drops April 28th via Bleakhouse.
MetalSucks calls the new song, "reminiscent of Godflesh, or even Code Orange — pulsing electronics, buried harsh vocals and explosions of heaviness make up the sound, with a noticeable emphasis on the industrial side." The haunting voice on the chorus belongs to guest vocalist ghrins.

King Yosef is a 25-year old Oregon producer/vocalist whose past collabs include Youth Code and some of the biggest names in rap, including XXXTentacion and Ski Mask the Slump God.
A series of seething bangers, laced with ominous melodies, An Underlying Hum's songs penetrate deep and haunt the skull for days; a mix of metallic hardcore bounce, industrial noise, ghostly ambience, and massive hooks.
An Underlying Hum is a deep dive into childhood traumas and a quest toward self-betterment, inspired by Yosef's time in therapy. He says this about the new single: "In the larger scheme of the record, 'Echo' is the first song to hold the mirror up and start psychoanalyzing my tendencies and what it means. I more or less was wondering if I was really any different than these people that had affected me so negatively throughout my life. Upon reflecting a lot, I really wasn’t that far away from a lot of their tendencies. Hurt perpetuates hurt. A sort of circle."
