The solo project of NYC artist Curran Reynolds, Body Stuff's impassioned rock music has been described in the past as "a massive surge of passionate energy... like a hardcore Bruce Springsteen" (The Wire Magazine). New album Body Stuff 5 was engineered and mixed by longtime Body Stuff collaborator Ryan Jones and mastered by Ted Jensen (Madonna, Metallica).
In addition to the new album, Reynolds has released a book titled Body Stuff World Peace, compiling all the Body Stuff lyrics to date.

"Amid all the gloom, doom and aesthetics of grit around us, it's refreshing to hear a rock album that wears hope on its sleeve without pretending the world isn't on fire. Bob Mould did it last year with 'Here We Go Crazy'; now Curran Reynolds brings the same iridescent zeal to his long-running solo project's 'Body Stuff 5.' This is a big, bold record, decidedly of and from New York City, with melodic new wave elements clashing against harder metallic riffs and Reynolds's voice riding triumphantly..."
–The Wire Magazine
"Body Stuff – a project that dips into goth, new romantic, post-punk and classic alternative, by a metalhead with an eye for pop sensibility."
–Decibel Magazine
"[Body Stuff 5] finds Reynolds delivering another dose of honest, soul-stirring music. It is an album he needed to make."
–New Noise Magazine
"Body Stuff is tapping into the steady, stripped-down rock of my youth with the heavy slap of a singular industrial beat, the uplifting drone of a guitar riff, and the growl of the vocals. This is the kind of music that drives you forward, no matter what, epic and uplifting."
–CVLT Nation
"Every reference I’ve tried to hang on this New York, New York, trio feels foolish. Bruce Springsteen aligning with Suicide and discovering Sisters of Mercy? OK, I guess. The soundtrack to some gritty Italo flick about urban decay? Sure, why not. And yet, Body Stuff rebuffs those comparisons, besides being, at its heart, a rock band with a post-punk edge."
