The Las Vegas band churns out a desert-baked brand of Neanderthal grooves and white-hot aggression, led by the menacing vocals of Lindsay O.
While the music draws from the slam side of death metal and the beatdown side of hardcore, earning comparisons to Xibalba, Gatecreeper, and Internal Bleeding, O.'s lyrics are not the usual gore and vengeance fantasies. On Incendiary Truths, she goes deep into her own personal traumas and comes out the other side bearing a message of positivity. She states: "Triumph over the self is a big part of my experience — learning to embrace inner darkness and transform it into something that empowers and informs your life. I've overcome some really heavy experiences by facing my demons and learning to listen to them. And it's through those experiences that I've come to accept myself."
