HEX MACHINE - "Oh You Petty Things"

Hex Machine's third album, Cave Painting, drops June 21st on Minimum Underdrive and today Revolver has premiered the opening track, "Oh You Petty Things".

Stream, here:

From Richmond VA, Hex Machine has roots in "the riffy approach of middle-period Melvins and the bendy blues of Unsane" (and frontman Trevere Thomas and drummer Douglas Andrae both toured the world as members of Today Is The Day) but on new album Cave Painting they reach into other realms too – moody guitar tones and dramatic vocals evoking dark '80s rockers like Killing Joke and The Psychedelic Furs (whose song "President Gas" they cover!)
