PEPPY PEP PEPPER + New Noise Magazine

“'Timeless design stays with us,' the band says. 'Concepts can be reused and can stay relevant and modern regardless of where we are in time. This is an extension of the idea behind ‘Design For Living.’ The footage is taken from How a Watch Works (1949) which can be found in the pre-linger archive. It illustrates how retro design can still feel futuristic.'"

Granny Chic was released March 19thOrder the limited edition cassette, here.

Describes the artist, “the concept of album title ‘granny chic’ is a nod to the fact that many people who connect with the sounds of 80’s music, be it pop or underground, are quite possibly grandparents at this point.” Though the album mainly addresses, in abstract terms, the passing of time, Violet encourages her audience to add their own personal meaning when listening to the dreamy electro-soundscapes of Granny Chic.
